Getting Your Computer To Us From Lakewood
A laptop travels easily, so most Lakewood customers bring it in with the charger and nothing else. Desktops are the awkward ones: bring the tower only, or let us collect it if 20 to 30 minutes each way with a case in the boot does not appeal.
Lakewood is about 12 road miles from the bench at 110 Sanders Ferry Rd, Suite 11, roughly 20 to 30 minutes by US-31E (Gallatin Pike) through Madison, then TN-45 (Old Hickory Boulevard) across the Old Hickory Bridge. That is a short enough run that most Lakewood customers simply drive over and drop the machine off, no appointment needed. Pickup and delivery is there if you would rather not make the trip.

About Our Lakewood Customers
Lakewood sits in Davidson County. A satellite city on Old Hickory Lake that voted 458 to 447 to surrender its charter in 2011 and is now part of Metro Nashville, first incorporated in 1959 as Dupontonia after the nearby DuPont rayon plant.
Lakewood is not a separate city any more. Residents voted to dissolve the charter on March 15, 2011 and the town merged into Metro Nashville, ending an unusual arrangement in which it had kept its own council and police force inside consolidated Nashville since 1963. It sits only about 4 miles from the shop in a straight line, but the lake and the Cumberland force the drive west through Madison and back east over the Old Hickory Bridge, which turns it into a 12 mile trip.
